Programme Overview
The BMS Programme in Virtual Learning Mode at Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur is the first IIM programme to be offered in a synchronous virtual learning mode, ensuring 100% live faculty interaction and real-time learning. Designed with a participant-centric and practical problem-solving approach, the programme offers a curriculum aligned with the NEP 2020 framework comprising 160 credits. Students gain the prestigious IIM alumni status upon successful completion and also benefit from campus immersion at the IIM Sirmaur campus in Himachal Pradesh. The programme covers diverse functional areas including Marketing, Finance, OB & HRM, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain, Decision Sciences, Strategy, Public Policy, Tourism Management, and Information Systems, with special emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, interactive sessions by industry professionals and consultants provide practical exposure through live case studies and real-world insights.

The BMS programme in virtual learning mode makes the students industry-ready by training them in different functional areas of management, hands-on training on software, live projects, and capstone projects. After the completion of 4 years of BMS Programme in virtual learning mode, the students are expected to get equipped with adequate knowledge about different functional areas of management and the concerned practices, which will help them to work at different levels in an organization. With a holistic view of life and the workplace having the understanding of the global business market and the associated challenges the students shall be able to address global challenges related to the environment and sustainability, helping to attain the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Fee Structure
The overall fee for a four-year BMS degree programme is ₹ 4,80,000 for the 2026 Batch. (₹60,000 per semester). Immersion Fees shall be collected and charged separately.
Loan Support
IIM Sirmaur has empanelled leading banks to facilitate education loans at preferential rates of interest. Comprehensive details of these empanelled banks, including key loan features and terms, are provided to students along with the admission offer letter. Students may independently evaluate the options available and are free to select any of the empanelled banks based on their individual financial requirements and the loan facilities offered. The Institute facilitates access to information; however, the final decision regarding the selection of the bank and loan availing process rests solely with the student.
